Richard Burns started his career at the age of 14 in the oilfields of Bakersfield where he made his way through the ranks of some of the most technologically based companies in existence. To name a few, Rockedyne (Rockwell International), Garret Airesearch, Borg Warner Nuclear Valve Division. Richard took his welding and fabrication talents and formed a company over 22 years ago named Heavy Metal, specializing in both residential and commercial applications dealing with everything from certified structual steel gates, railings, etc. Anything dealing with both carbon and alloy steel.
